Carey Mulligan was hotel scavenger as child
April 4th, 2010 - 1:22 pm ICT by IANSLondon, April 4 (IANS) Actress Carey Mulligan has revealed that she used to sneak into the rooms at her father’s guest houses and pick up lost items of visitors who stayed there.
Mulligan lived in the hotels her father managed in England and Germany and admits she and her brother would hide in maid’s trolleys and claim whatever they found in vacated rooms, reports dailystar.co.uk.
Although most of the stuff found was “crap”, there were a few treasures, says Mulligan. “We got a Swiss army knife once,” she said.
