There is an upsurge of rumors lately regarding the budding romantic relation betwixt Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan.

The Hollywood duo are starring together on “Money Never Sleeps“, a Wall Street sequel, which is a crime-drama film, produced and directed by Oliver Stone, which is currently being shot in NewYork. The film is scheduled for release on April 23rd 2010. Spotted in each others company the pair were reportedly cuddling each other and were even seen exchanging kisses on Sunday afternoon at Extra Virgin, situated in the center of Greenwich Village.

Mulligan 24 dressed in a knee length plain black sleeveless dress hung out rather unconsciously with Shia who wore a white T-shirt and fitting jeans. An unidentified source who witnessed the couple chilling and getting cosy said, “They looked happy.” After having a good time on the afternoon date they hailed a city cab. The unpretentious Carey had initially told reporters that she was always taking the bus while she lived in L.A.

Well Shia has always managed to remain coy regarding personal affairs and so it was no surprise that his representative had nothing to comment on the liaison.The actor had once publicly admitted his attraction for Megan Fox who was his co-star in “Transformers” and the sequel “Transformers:Revenge Of The Fallen.” Carey has become quite famous after her role as Keira Knightley’s younger sister in”Pride And Prejudice”. She also did wonderfully on “An Education”which was Peter Skarsgaard’s latest movie.

Carey has also received acknowledgment for her acting talent by being awarded by the Star Shooting Star Award at the 2009 Berlinale.In the 2010 movie (Wall Street sequel) she plays Winnie Gekko.Her future projects are ,an improvisation on Chekov’s Uncle Vanya and the film The Electric Slide.Other movies that she has done are Public Enemies,Brothers( end of 2009), and Never Let Me Go(2010 release).
