“Captain America” Trailer Makes Its Debut During Super Bowl

Captain AmericaFeb 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Super Bowl is known to garner extensive television ratings unlike any other sports event as the audiences wait with baited breath to watch the nail-biting closure to the NFL season. Owing to its high viewership, Super Bowl XLV provided the appropriate platform for unveiling the first television trailer of some of the biggest movies that are gearing up release this year which includes, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,’ ‘Super 8,’ ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’ ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ to name a few. Among these, the Joe Johnston Marvel Comics based superhero flick is one of the flicks that created the maximum hype with its rather intriguing trailer.

The ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ trailer which spans across 32 seconds, showcases Steve Rogers, played by none other Chris Evans getting into a machine that instills the serum in his body that gives him superhuman strength as well as reflexes. As Chris Evans comes out of the machine, Hayley Atwell’s character Peggy Carter asks him how does he feel, to which the superhero replies by saying that he feels quite ‘taller.’ As the trailer progresses, the superhero is seen fighting against a number of ‘bad guys’ as a number of exciting shots from different sequences in the movie are shown.

As expected, the fascinating trailer of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ has managed to create quite a buzz among the movie-goers who are waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of the movie which is scheduled to hit theaters this summer on July 22. The remarkable trailer along with its star-cast would surely ensure that the flick opens to packed theaters.
