Canon Ixus 300 HS camera a complete review

This new camera from Canon is shaped a bit differently and looks more like a bar of soap than a digital camera. The sandpaper finishing of the camera ensures that you can get a good grip on the camera. The package comes with a HDMI cable, software CD, AC adapter kit, and a USB cable and user guide.
The camera has 3.8x digital zoom and 10MP sensor which helps you take some crisp shots under good lighting conditions. The lcd viewing area is 3inches wide, which is the largest you can get in this category. Right beside the LCD screen you can see the control buttons that let you access all the features available in the camera. The jog dial helps you access every possible function in the camera. The menu system is a bit confusing and can make you refer to the user manual for instructions.

The camera also allows you to shoot HD videos at 240fps. The Canon Ixus 300HS comes at a decent price and is highly recommended for point-and shoot photographers.
