Dec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Injured Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Jessica Simpson’s ex-boyfriend, Tony Romo has been engaged to be married to Candice Crawford. She works as a sports reporter for a private sports channel in Dallas, Texas. Reports from the station say that Tony Romo proposed to Candice Crawford at the time the couple were celebrating her 24th birthday at a restaurant in Dallas on Thursday. The wedding date has not yet been announced. The couple have been officially dating each other since September 2009 and now they have become engaged. They made public appearances together a few months before that. Candice Crawford has also been a former beauty queen, winning the Miss Missouri USA crown in 2008. The same year she took part in the Miss USA pageant. She is the sister of ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chase Crawford.

Tony Romo broke his collarbone on Oct. 25th, for which he was unable to play. It is unlikely that he would return to the field this year. However, it seems as if he has used his injury in solidifying his relationship with the former Miss Missouri. Losing in the game this season, Tony Romo could be happy about the fact that at least there is one good news for him in 2010. On a particular TV station’s website, Candice Crawford said she is extremely passionate about sports, she loves running around, playing basketball, cooking and watching Cowboys games.

According to reports from various sources, Candice Crawford seems to be very happy with the relationship. Her family and friends are all aware of her engagement. Tony Romo popped up the big question on the birthday of the former Miss Missouri. To his surprise, she accepted his proposal. It is hoped that they would live a happy life together.
