The Ghost stars representative confirmed that the actor was released from the medical centre after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia.
“I am happy to announce that Patrick Swayze is home after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia,” People magazine quoted Annett Wolf, as saying.
The 56-year-old star checked himself into the hospital for observation on January 9 after revealing he had pneumonia, canceling his appearance at the Television Critics Association press event to promote his new A&E series, The Beast, which premiered January 15.
The actor is battling deadly cancer but says his spirit is strong.
“I am alive and plan on continuing to stay that way,” he said recently. (ANI)
