Los Angeles, July 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Movie lovers have mostly been disappointed with cancellations of their favorite programs on TV. Most of the cancellations are due primarily to financial difficulties and contractual disagreements between producers, actors, TV companies and so forth. However despite the cancellation of the TV show, the stars of the popular shows are still famous and people still remember them by their signature role even when they perform in other shows.

However the viewers whose favorite TV shows get cancelled needn’t be disappointed as there is a growing hope that you might get your favorite series on DVD, if you really love you TV program. 


Producers and the program developers are increasingly making the programs available on DVDs. Already, shows like ‘The X-Files’ and ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ have all been released on DVDs. Having the shows on DVD helps the viewer view and review the show over and over again. It also ensures that every episode is available for the viewer, and also increases the popularity of the stars of the show.

There are however some great TV programs that have already suffered the television casualties but fortunately, they have been made available on DVDs. Some of the shows that easily come to mind are, ‘The Tick’, ‘My So-Called Life’ and ‘The Ben Stiller Show’.
