Can Russell Ferguson survive on ‘So You Think You can Dance’?

November 3rd, 2009 - 9:13 pm ICT by Aishwarya Bhatt Tell a Friend -

Russell Ferguson Los Angeles, Nov 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Russell Ferguson is all set to take the stage tonight on ‘So You Think You can Dance’. He entered the final 18 last week and all eyes are on him to see whether her can survive another week or not. Last week was very harrowing for him as his dance partner Noelle Marsh suffered an injury during rehearsals, and he was paired with their choreographer to dance the fox trot.

“It was a shock when Noelle got injured. I wasn’t expecting it. The way I am is I leave everything in God’s hands. I’m very spiritual,” said the Boston Arts Academy graduate Russell Ferguson.

Ferguson takes to the stage tonight at 8 on WFXT (Ch. 25). Two dancers will be sent packing at the end of the two-hour episode. It is still not known whether Noelle Marsh is all fit and ready to dance or not in today’s episode.

“My whole perception in this is based off of spirituality, not necessarily religion. I want people to understand this is a spiritual dance. Whatever you believe in, it’s a spiritual dance and a healing. I give all my glory to God,” Ferguson said.

“There is a spiritual connection, that is why I am doing this show. I want people to understand krump and what is behind it instead of just learning a krump move.”

“We feel like we are being touched, that is why nothing is ever the same,” he said. “It all depends on that feeling at the moment. That is why I say no krumper is better than any other.”
