October 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The countdown for the’ Miss World Pageant 2010’ to be held in the Republic of China has begun, with some very great expectations from all contestants.

Reportedly, this year’s pageant has an amazing 120 contestants from various parts of the world, and as each passing year has shown, the level of competition has slowly risen. Each year, the bar is raised to the next level, and as the world has their own favorites, it is Miss India, Manasvi Mamgai, the 22-year-old from Mumbai, India, who has all eyes on her to bring in the crown!

Well, the most amazing fact is that in the recent past, Indian girls have not really been able to give in their best shots at these International pageants, for whatever reasons, but this year, the question that is cropping up in all minds is-will Manasvi be able to break the jinx?

Will Miss India, selected through the Pantaloons Miss India World pageant be able to prove to the world that India still has the grit and the glamor to bring the coveted crown?

It was way back in 2000 when Priyanka Chopra had successfully given India the pride of showing to the world that Indian girls could surely be amongst the best beauty, brains, and poise all ingrained in her, which can be best even to be judged on an international level.

However, the 2010 Miss World, which is to be held on October 30th, and last year’s Miss World, Kaiane Aldrino, will crown this year’s winner at the theater in China.

The event in China is something which everyone is looking forward to. It is going to be telecast live in many channels.

Miss India World, Manasvi, is  a great competitor, she has some varied interests, is well read and has a great poise and looks good. But, the question is –does she have it in her to bring in the crown? With fingers crossed we hope so!
