Campbell Brown Quits CNN

May 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Citing the reason to be the low rating of the show, Campbell Brown the CNN news anchor quit from the CNN’s “Campbell Brown”. The news anchor who is known for her straightforward nature did not hide the reason for her resignation and revealed to the media sources that she had decided to quit as she felt viewers were not interested to watch her program. Campbell Brown also released a public on Tuesday where she mentioned that news show that she was anchoring had a very low rating which did not please her at all. She went on to say that the low rating is the main reason of her quitting the CNN’s ‘Campbell Brown” show.
Regarding her citing the reason of her quit, Campbell Brown mentioned in her statement that it was hard to keep the secret. She said that she had thought about the matter and then decided to reveal the reason of such a decision to the public and the media. Candid Campbell went on to say that she felt the urge to come out with the truth. She added that the low rating of the show points to the failure of the program and that she owes it to herself and to the executive of the CNN to go for something different which people will like to see.
However, though she has quit from show which she hosted, Campbell Brown mentioned that she is also planning to help CNN through the transition. CNN President Jon Klein revealed to the media that the network would announce the new program plans in the coming week. Some media sources claimed that Eliot Spitzer is being considered as host of a new debate show by CNN.
