Oscar-winner Michael Douglas’ fledgling actor son Cameron, has found himself on the wrong side of the law again, with reports of the 30 year-old actor having been arrested on a drug charge on July 28th at a swanky New York city hotel, trickling in from all over.

According to sources who spoke on conditions of anonymity, owing to the investigations still being ongoing, the star-kid had been arrested on charges of dealing methamphetamine at Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan. Reportedly, Cameron’s famous father, was out of the country at the moment, and hence not available for comment. Statements didn’t seem to be forthcoming from Michael Douglas’ long-time representative either.

This doesn’t however, happen to be the fist time that the actor has managed to get himself into trouble with the law enforcement agencies over his association with narcotics and prohibited substances. For the record, he had been arrested once prior to the present, in 2007 for possession of cocaine.

While celebrity brushes with the law don’t exactly come as a shocking surprise, in light of the regularity of their occurrence, this scion of the Douglas family, seems to have carved out quite the behavioral pattern for himself, that involves periodical scuffles against the prescriptions of the legal system. Remembered notably for his role in the 2003 flick ‘It Runs in the family’, which true to it’s title, had all three generations of the Douglases lending their screen presence, what remains to be seen, is how this young Douglas manages to get out of this one.
