Hollywood, June 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cameron Diaz was cast as a wayward teacher in her latest movie ‘Bad Teacher’. The movie is due to be released soon and Diaz was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday to promote it. During the interview Diaz made a remark that became the highlight of the night.

Describing the character that she played in the movie, Diaz said, “Weed is awesome!” She was however quick to add that it was not her personal view but that of the character that she played in the movie.

The movie which is expected to be released in North America at the weekend features Diaz as a junior high school teacher who is ready to break any rule at her school. She goes ahead to encourage another teacher at the school to also do the same.

She told Fallon that, “I’m like, ‘Hold it in, hold it in!’ … Weed is awesome! … that was what my character says, that’s not what I say.”

The movie also featured Justin Timberlake who recently made it clear that he has used marijuana before. Speaking to Playboy magazine last week, Timberlake admitted smoking weed saying “some people are just better high.”
