Cam Gigandet and his girlfriend Dominique Geisendorff have become the proud parents of a baby girl on April 14. For Gigandet, an actor in Twilight and Geisendorff this is the first baby together. The baby weighs 7.6 lb and reportedly both mother and daughter are doing fine.

The couple has no plans for a wedding yet, though Gigandet’s father said that he expects Dominique to be his daughter in law someday. He had said, “Marriage is definitely in their future. They won’t get married before the baby is born, but Dom will be our daughter-in-law sooner or later. We all love her so much.”

The couple were last seen in public together on April 6 when Cam took his pregnant girlfriend out for lunch in Hollywood. He was seen wearing a newsboy cap and holding a bunch of newspapers while puffing at a cigarette. The pictures received some flak from viewers who said he should not have smoked around his pregnant girlfriend.

An insider revealed, “There is no name yet. She is perfectly healthy, everyone is doing fine!”

According to reports, Cam and Dominique started dating two years ago and have been sharing a flat in Los Angeles. Her grandmother Helen Feldman had said earlier, “Dominique thinks that Cam is the one she’s going to marry. And I believe Cam feels the same way about her. They’re very serious.”

Cam stars in Twilight as James. Geisendorff last appeared in the 2007 horror flick Beneath the Surface as Kahlah. The pregnancy was reported in November 2008.
