Cages National Treasure 2 rules weekend Box Office

Washington, Jan 07 (ANI): Nicholas Cages new movie National Treasure: Book of Secrets ruled the US box office over the weekend grossing 20.2 million dollars.

Second on the list was Will Smiths I Am Legend that took in 16.4 million dollars, according to figures by Exhibitor Relations.

Jennifer Garner starrer Juno, a movie about a couple trying to adopt a pregnant teens child, took in 16.2 million dollars, becoming the third highest grossing movie for the weekend.

The top five top grossing movie list was rounded off by Alvin and the Chipmunks in fourth spot, which grossed 16 million dollars, and One Missed Call in fifth spot, with an earning of 13.5 million dollars, reports E! Online.

The top 10 earners at the weekend box-office as per figures from Exhibitor Relations is:

National Treasure: Book of Secrets, $20.2 million

I Am Legend, $16.4 million

Juno, $16.2 million

Alvin and the Chipmunks, $16 million

One Missed Call, $13.5 million

Charlie Wilson’s War, $8.2 million

P.S. I Love You, $8 million

The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, $6.3 million

Sweeney Todd, $5.4 million
