buzzLos Angeles, Apr 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The star studded “Dancing with the Stars” Season 10 is going great guns. The reality show which started this season on March 22 has been able to reach the top of the viewer’s choice list within three weeks. On Tuesday night viewers remained glued to their television sets to watch the elimination round. Buzz Aldrin, 80 year-old former astronaut was eliminated from the show. Buzz Aldrin was paired in the show along with Ashly Costa. He became the second person to get eliminated from the show on Tuesday.

The 80 year old former astronaut who tried to do his best on the floor could not manage to impress the judges and the audience. In all three episodes the Buzz Aldrin-Ashly Costa pair finished last. In their last attempt at a waltz, the couple could only manage to earn 13 points out of 30. However, considering the age of her dance partner, Ashly Costa had reportedly said to her partner that she is proud of him after knowing the fate of the couple in the contest.

In a lighter mood Buzz Aldrin said that though he had never imagined that he would walk on the moon, he had also never thought that he would ever dance in television. The former astronaut said that he had joined the Season 10 of “Dancing with the Stars” to inspire people to take interest in space programs and also to honor old people like him. He said that old people like him would have liked him to the return to the show every week. However, all is not over in the show and with each and every passing week the excitement is sure to grip the viewers.
