Butler honoured at Ischia Film Festival
July 13th, 2011 - 2:06 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 13 (IANS) Scottish actor Gerard Butler has received the highest accolade at Ischia Film Festival.
Dailystar.co.uk reports that the 41-year-old was given the actor of the year award Monday.
The actor has just completed filming of two movies which are set to be released this year - “Machine Gun Preacher” and “Movie 43″.
Butler was previously honoured by the event’s organisers in 2004, when he landed the best new actor trophy.
The film festival flagged off July 10 and will run until July 17.
