New York, Feb 3 (ANI): Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are not having children anytime soon.

Cannon said that although he and his wife want to have kids one day, they’re too busy now.

While Carey, 40, is touring the country promoting her latest CD, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” the 29-year-old Cannon is busy hosting “America’s Got Talent” and his new morning radio show.

That leaves the couple little time to spend together, said Cannon.

“We absolutely plan to have a family. But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority,” the New York Daily News quoted Cannon as saying.

“That’s like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We want to make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions,” he added.

“She’s on tour right now, I’m doing a bunch of stuff, so eventually we want to be able to say it’s time to have a kid, and set everything up.

“But we’re definitely moving toward [it]. We got our house in L.A., and we got a house [in New York City], established and close to schools. So we take all of that stuff into consideration,” he added. (ANI)
