Apr 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American businessman Ron Burkle has become quite a sought after name on the internet after he reported donated a large amount of money in the latest episode of the ninth edition of the reality show “Celebrity Apprentice” which was aired last night.

After it came to light that the business magnate donated a whopping $50,000 to actress Holly Robinson Peete who is a contestant in the reality show, netizens have been resorting to the web with the aim of gaining information about the accomplished businessman. It has been reported that Ron Burkle donated the money to Holly Robinson Peete and her team Tenacity during the challenge which required the contestants to raise money in order to create a class for 24 Hours Fitness. As both the teams of the reality show were trying their best to raise funds, the actress, who was the project manager of her team, was making phone calls so that Tenacity could conjure up the requisite amount of money. It was then that Holly Robinson Peete all a sudden received $50,000 in donation from the business magnate and political fundraiser. In the meanwhile, it has been revealed that the donation by Ron Burkle would be used for the benefit of autistic children.

At the end of the episode, both the teams in “Celebrity Apprentice” were able to gather a whopping $337,893 as the total amount which is a record in itself. At the same time, the latest episode also grabbed many eyeballs as for the second time in the history of the show, Donald Trump did not fire any of the contestants.
