Burnett to make final appearance on ‘All My Children’
June 26th, 2011 - 2:07 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, June 26 (IANS) Comedienne and actress Carol Burnett will make a final appearance on ABC’s long running soap “All My Children” before the series comes to an end Sep 23.
Burnett, 78, first portrayed Verla Grubbs on the show in 1983 and has made several return appearances since leaving, most recently in 2005 to celebrate the show’s 35th anniversary.
For the final appearance, she will share her scenes with Susan Lucci and Jill Larson, reports dailystar.co.uk.
“All My Children”, created by Agnes Nixon, is a long-running American television soap opera that has been coming on ABC from Monday to Friday after it debuted Jan 5, 1970.
