New York, Apr 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS ) Alcoholism had always shared a lingering relationship with celebrities and this one is the newest addition to the already existing bunch. Nicholas Brendon, who shot to fame with “Buffy- The Vampire Slayer” is being reported to be taken under custody by the cops and that he might be subjected to a two-year imprisonment. It all started off last month in Venice where Nicholas Brendon got himself engaged in a brawl with the police. Reportedly, Nicholas Brendon was dead drunk on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day and created a ruckus which triggered a complaint. The cops soon landed up on the scene and took the man under custody who was creating disturbance and there was no one who could have stopped him from doing so. Nicholas Brendon tried to escape the clutches of the police and even confronted them until the cops over powered him with a taser.

Later it was discovered that the man held at the police custody is none other than the “Buffy-The Vampire Slayer” star. The cops reported that when they got their hands on him, Nicholas Brendon was high on alcohol and at the first instant tried to escape the scene and even confronted them. Later he was also charged with ‘felony vandalism’ for causing damage to public property. Besides the charges for felony vandalism, the actor shall also have to pay a fine of$4,000.

The worse thing that could happen is that Nicholas Brendon might end up in prison if he is found guilty of the charges that are to be decided upon by the court. April 7 is when Nicholas Brendon faces the court once again for his defense plea.
