New York, June 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) TLC aired the third season of “Cake Boss” on Monday night which featured Hoboken’s Carlo’s Bake Shop. The one hour show depicted the master cake maker Buddy Valastro preparing a massive cake for Governor Chris Christie. Reportedly the third season shall have 26 episodes in total and will take the audience for a trip down the timeline where they will talk about the family members of the cake maker who descends from Italy.

The third season of “Cake Boss” shall also have a “Crazy Cake Creations” special where the very best of designs in cake will be showed to one and all. One of the very best was a special cake that was baked on the eve of National Train Day which measured 10 feet wide and 25 feet long. Buddy Valastro himself calls the train day cake to be his best creation till date and hopes to deliver much more “bigger” and “crazier” cakes in the future. The real punch was delivered to Governor Chris Christie who was surprised and delighted to witness the size of the mammoth cake that Buddy Valastro had baked for him. “Cake Boss” had the voiceover done by Buddy Valastro himself who described the cake and it’s appeal. He also said that he is excited and can’t wait to meet the governor in person. He called this meeting with the governor to be even better than meeting Bruce Springsteen and a dream come true for a “Jersey boy”.

After the Governor honor cake, Buddy Valastro threw in his second creation for the day. It was a 5 foot tall replica cake all wrapped in smoldering chocolate, that resembled the cake figure of Mrs. Valastro herself. Carving his wife’s cake figure, that can only come out from the “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro and no one else.
