Bruno scoops Best Film nomination at British Comedy Awards
November 19th, 2009 - 4:16 pm ICT by ANILondon, November 19 (ANI): Sacha Baron Cohen’s film Bruno has bagged a nomination in the Best Film category at the British Comedy Awards.
The controversial movie features the actor who plays the title character of a flamboyant gay Austrian fashion journalist.
The mockumentary comedy will compete against The Hangover and In the Loop for the coveted award, reports the Daily Star.
The awards are slated to take place in London on December 12.
This film is the third based on characters from Da Ali G Show, following Ali G Indahouse and Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. (ANI)
