Oct.27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bruce Springsteen’s cousin and road crew member Lenny Sullivan passed away on the 26th of October Monday. Springsteen has canceled a show on account of the unfortunate incident. Lenny was found dead in his hotel room. He was staying at the InterContinental Hotel at the Plaza in Kansas City. The team was staying there on account of a concert Springsteen was about to host at the Sprint Center in Kansas City along with his E Street band.

Lenny’s body was discovered in his hotel room in the afternoon, mere hours before the Bruce and the band was about to perform. Emergency help reached the hotel, but it was already too late. The police of Kansas City is investigating into the matter. However, according to the spokesperson of Kansas City Police, Captain Rich Lockhart, the cause of death seemed natural and there was nothing suspicious about the death. No suspicious element has been found after the investigation, either.

Lenny had been a member of the band since the last ten years. He was the assistant road manager and invaluable to the team. He was loved by the entire band and the Thrill Hill family. He was only thirty six years old at the time of his death. An obituary was posted in Bruce’s official website. In the website, he was referred to as “a warm and sensitive person.” According to the post, Bruce further apologized to Kansas City for the cancellation of the tour. He said that their team would be back for a performance as soon as possible. The team thanked the people of Kansas City for their patience and understanding. All the tickets were refunded.
