Las Vegas, Apr 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brooks and Dunn, the top selling country music duo, are all set to part ways this year. However, all their legions of fans who must be terribly disappointed about the whole issue, need not feel too bad just yet. For the singing duo has declared that they will be bidding goodbye to their team only after embarking on a tour, a final one. As has been announced, the tour will be held in the second week of August this year. The tour is going to be called “The Last Rodeo,” and will continue all through the summer.

The decision of the singing duo was announced at the “Academy of Country Music Presents: Brooks and Dunn- The Last Rodeo.” The show was held in Las Vegas, as a tribute to the group which has been delivering one chart-buster after another for the last twenty years, that is, ever since they came into being. The show was attended by all the who’s who of the country music circuit. It was announced in the show that Kix Brooke and Ronnie Dunn would be calling it a day with this final tour, which is also going to feature as special artists singers Jason Aldean and Tyler Dickenson.

It was announced that the tour would be wrapped up on August 10, which would be marking the end of a great legacy. As the duo came up on stage to deliver a speech at the ceremony of the Academy of Music Awards, they recounted all the events and milestones that had taken place in their career. They also went on to say why they had decided to call off their group, emphasizing that there was no bitterness involved in it.
