Broke Nicholas Cage to sells his mansion
April 4th, 2010 - 4:15 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 04 (ANI): Hollywood star Nicholas Cage will say goodbye to his mansion to pay off the 11.2-million-pound mortgage.
The actor has been trying to sell the six- bedroom house for nearly three years.
The house was up for 23 million pounds initially but Cage slashed the asking price in a bid to generate a quick sale.
The 46-year-old now has until 10.30am tomorrow to find a buyer or he will lose the Bel Air property.
He is facing several lawsuits and is himself suing the former financial manager he blames for his woes.
A bank is suing Cage for 1.3million pounds. Also a property company claims the actor owes 2 million pounds in unpaid loans.
Ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton, mother of his 19-year-old son Weston, is also suing him for 8.6million pounds for fraud and breach of contract, claiming she has been caught up in the financial mess and fallen into tax and credit card debts herself, reports The Daily Star. (ANI)
