Brittany Murphy’s Husband, Simon Monjack, Found Dead
May 25th, 2010 - 10:07 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkMay 25, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Simon Monjack, the deceased Brittany Murphy’s husband, was found dead in his Hollywood residence by his mother-in-law, Sharon.
Paramedics, who were instantaneously called after he was found lifeless, endeavoured to breathe life into the British screenwriter. However, their endeavour was unsuccessful. They pronounced him as dead. It has been alleged that Monjack suffered a heart attack.
Nevertheless, the new reports doing the rounds in Los Angeles emphasize that Monjack’s death was generated by drug overdose. But the police personnel have asserted that there is no foul play in Monjack’s death.
At the same time, police officers have established that they have found prescription pills beside Monjack’s bed.
Brittany Murphy had died five months ago. In February, a report was discharged by the coroner that mentioned that Murphy’s death was as a result of pneumonia, which was worsened by iron-deficiency anaemia and manifold drug intoxication.
Brittany Murphy’s death at the young age of 32 had generated various queries about Monjack’s history. There were many rumours concerning drugs, alcohol and eating disorders.
A source attached to Monjack divulged that Monjack had maintained a low profile since Murphy’s death. No one had observed him for months. The source also added that nobody was witnessed entering or leaving the house either.
Simone Bienne, Monjack’s first wife, declined to speak about him.
