Brittany Murphy’s husband requests no autopsy

Melbourne, Dec 21 (ANI): Actress Brittany Murphy’s husband has requested officials not to conduct an autopsy on his dead wife.
Although the reason for the Clueless star’s death has not been confirmed, it is believed she suffered a cardiac arrest.
According to TMZ.com, Murphy’s screenwriter hubby Simon Monjack has asked hospital staff that an autopsy not be conducted on the Hollywood star.
But the L.A. County Coroner’s office will perform an autopsy, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre spokeswoman Sally Stewart revealed that Murphy was pronounced dead at 10.04am local time on Sunday.
She was rushed to the hospital after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at 8am at the home Murphy shared with Monjack, in the Hollywood Hills.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said the cause of Murphy’s death “appears to be natural.’
He added Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom on Sunday morning, and authorities are looking into her medical history.
Winter said Murphy’s family is cooperating with the coroner’s investigation. He says an autopsy is planned for Monday or Tuesday. (ANI)
