London, Jan 22 (ANI): Late actress Brittany Murphy’s grieving husband has blamed Hollywood for her death.
British screenwriter Simon Monjack said that his wife was devastated days before she died after an offer to be the voice of Gloria in the sequel to hit cartoon Happy Feet was withdrawn.
The 32-year-old actress, who died of a heart attack in her LA home last month, starred in the original movie as the voice of penguin Gloria.
But according to her widower Simon Monjack, the ‘Clueless’ star was cut from the project when rumours swirled she had been axed from another movie.
“Hollywood broke her heart. Hollywood is a village and once you upset the villagers, they talk and they gossip and they rumour. They have blood on their hands,” the Sun quoted him as saying. (ANI)
