Melbourne, Dec 22 (ANI): Actress Brittany Murphy’s sudden death last Sunday has left hubby Simon Monjack devastated, who says his “world is destroyed”.

Screenwriter Monjack, who tied the knot with the “Clueless” star in 2007, said he was moved by what Murphy’s former co-star Ashton Kutcher wrote about her on Twitter.

“It was comforting to me, I couldn’t have said it better…My world was destroyed yesterday,” News.com.au quoted Monjack as telling, Access Hollywood

Kutcher’s had written: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. see you on the other side kid.”

Talking about how they found Murphy in the bathroom Monjack said: “(Her mother) Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran. Then called 911,” he said.

He also confessed that his late wife had been suffering from laryngitis.

He said: “She had been tired at the end of the year. She had made a couple movies.”

Monjack also ruled out any drug abuse by Murphy.

He said: “I don’t know why anyone would think that,” he said. “She found love. We found love. Brittany didn’t get to where Brittany was with anyone controlling her… Brittany was Brittany.”

Although, Murphy’s autopsy has given no signs of foul play, the cause of death has is still not known. (ANI)
