Dec. 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The sad news of the death of actress Brittany Murphy has brought with it a whole lot of speculations. Indeed, her death had been a sudden one, and that too at the very premature age of 32. Although reports have stated that she had died of an abrupt and massive cardiac arrest, that does not stop tongues from wagging, specially because throughout her life, the actress had been in the midst of a lot of controversy, ranging from drug abuse to anorexia.

Brittany Murphy’s sudden death has led to the speculation that it might have resulted from acute drug abuse. In recent times, it had been reported at various points that she had, once more, succumbed to substance abuse. The speculations might have stemmed from the fact that her professional and personal life had been rather turbulent of late. She had recently been ousted from the latest project undertaken by her husband, Simon Monjack. It is being speculated that she might have killed herself, accidentally, by a drug overdose.

It cannot be said for sure how much store can be set by these estimations. Brittany Murphy has always been the subject of speculated drug abuse, despite her vehement protests of the same. Adding to the beliefs were her exceptionally petite frame and eccentric behavior at some of the press junkets she had attended. Her death itself is fueling those rumors, considering the unnaturalness of a cardiac arrest occurring at this age. Also, there are reports of some close acquaintances who claim that recently, the most noticeable thing about the actress was her increasing frailty.
