Dec. 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Brittany Murphy passed away on Sunday at her home in Sunset Strip. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but it is being suspected that it was a sudden cardiac arrest that had killed her. Fire fighters had received a call at around 8 in the evening from her husband, Simon Monjac, bit it is not clear as to whom she had been discovered by, her husband or her mother. She was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where they tried to resuscitate her, but she was declared dead after two hours. She was only 32 years old at the time of death.

For a while after the news had spread, it was being considered that the death of the “Uptown Girls” actress was nothing but a hoax, in the same line as that of the other celebrities that emerge every other day. However, the condolences posted by the other celebrities of Tinseltown made it clear before long that it was not so. Her co-actors and friends like Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson expressed their deepest regrets at the death of the actress, and offered their condolences to the bereaved family.

There are many explanations circulating of the sudden and sad demise of Brittany Murphy at the premature age of 32. Some seem to believe that she might have committed suicide, although accidentally, stemming from the fact that recently, she was reported to be a drug abuser. Although unfortunate, her death do not seem to be causing much surprise in some quarters, who claim that she had been subject to failing health in the last few days.
