Los Angeles, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The troubled pop star Britney Spears and the late actress Brittany Murphy, who died on Sunday had a common link. Brittany Murphy is suspected to be on drugs as a treasure-trove of drugs was found in her house. And Britney Spears is in the news more for being infamous, than for her songs.

However the common link between them is a Los Angeles house. Brittany had reportedly purchased that house from Britney Spears in 2001. She had made a payment of 2,975,000 dollars towards owning that house, in which she spend her last moments, before she died of a cardiac arrest. What triggered off a cardiac arrest is not known, till now, even though her autopsy has been performed.

Brittany’s anguished family has revealed that the 32-year-old actress was sick, with ‘flu-like’ symptoms before her death on Sunday, which was triggered by a cardiac arrest.

Brittany Murphy was reportedly taking prescription medication for flu-like symptoms that she had been experiencing for a few days prior to Sunday. She is also said to have begun vomiting early on Sunday morning, and told her family that she was feeling very ill.

Sources also divulged that various prescriptions were found in the home written out for her, her husband Simon Monjack, and her mother. Sharon. A source revealed, “There were a lot … a lot of prescriptions in the house.”
