Brits hate successful pretty girls, says Gemma Arterton

The ‘Quantum Of Solace’ star insists beautiful women are more disliked than their “plainer” rivals.
“Brits in general don’t like pretty girls, but if you are pretty and get on in life, you are even more disliked,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old actress had recently urged women not to imitate her or her fellow Hollywood actresses and create an identity of their own.
She said she’s amazed to see young women around the world trying to copy their idols at the expense of their own identity. (ANI)
