Britney Spears Special On ‘Glee’

July 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Glee is all set to pay a tribute to pop diva Britney Spears in the next season. The creators of the show have confirmed that the second episode of Glee will be a tribute to Britney Spears and it will feature 6 songs by the ‘Toxic’ star. Whether the pop sensation will be making an appearance herself on the show has not been confirmed yet but creators are afraid to make any prior announcement yet.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy revealed at the Comic-Con in San Diego that the episode of Glee that will be dedicated to the pop princess will be ‘fun and unexpected’. He also described it as ‘hallucinogenic’. Murphy also revealed that the character of Brittany will also be doing one of the six songs of Britney Spears on the episode that is expected to air on September 28. Earlier we saw actor Mathew Morrison refuting claims that they will do a Britney Spears on ‘Glee’. In the entire episode Mr. Schuester will be seen refusing repeatedly to do a Britney Spears on the show.
Ryan Murphy also revealed at the Comic-Con that the shooting for the second season of the successful show starts on Wednesday. The cheerleader Brittany will be the focus of the show. He said that he does not want to reveal further information about the Britney Spears special as it will be aired in September. Ryan Murphy has also rubbished rumors that Justin Timberlake will also be making a cameo on the episode. He said that the ‘Sexy Back’ star was hugely talented and they might think about his appearance later in the show.
