Washington, Jan 12 (ANI): Britney Spears unintentionally offended the family of a birthday girl during her recent stay in hospital when medical staff pressed for imposing tough laws.

A fuming mother rammed into Spears’ private room after staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles didnt permit her to take a birthday cake to her daughter, a fellow patient at the facility.

The singer was taken to the hospital after an apparent meltdown at her home.

The troubled pop star spent her hospital stay in the third floor Psych Unit at Cedars Sinai, where she was medicated and evaluated before being released.

However, while recovering from her injuries, Britney started creating trouble inadvertently on the eighth floor of the hospital.

According to sources, the singers presence caused “mini-riots” throughout the facility.

A report in In Touch Weekly claims that one patient’s mother wanted to have a small party for her daughter, but was told she wouldn’t be allowed to bring a cake into the ward.

“The mom screamed, `If Britney brought the cake you’d let her, before kicking the door to Britney’s room, which caused Britney to yell back at the woman,” Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling the mag. (ANI)
