May 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) During the past weekend, there was a leaked version of Lady Gaga’s hit track “Telephone” on the internet. Reportedly it was only a demo that was leaked on the internet and the voice that was singing the song was that of Britney Spears’. While speculation has been high since then, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the producer of “Telephone” has come up with a statement claiming that the voice was indeed Britney Spears’.

However the producer is still in the dark, pondering on the fact as to who could have done such an act. He denied taking the blame on himself, saying that he would never have done such a thing without the permission of the pop star, her manager Larry Rudolph or Jive Records which has the rights to the Lady Gaga hit “Telephone”.

According to reports, Britney Spears was previously offered the song, she even recorded the same song, but the version was never released. Long after, the same song was taken up by Lady Gaga and credited to her name. The number which has already become popular as a Lady Gaga song is now being released in the voice of Britney Spears. What the world will have to say after hearing the new version, is a matter of wait and watch.

The demo “Telephone” version was supposedly released by a website named iLeaks.com which featured the entire video of Britney Spears after an amount of $750 was paid by one of its users. Britney Spears and Lady Gaga were unavailable for comment.
