Britney Spears denies being pressured into launching Circus tour

Washington, June 19 (ANI): Pop diva Britney Spears has rubbished reports that she was pushed to kick off Circus tour.
The 27-year-old singer insists she proposed the idea because she wanted to hit back at the people who said that she was “finished.”
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker shot down speculations that she was not ready for such a massive operation, and was pushed by her father Jamie and manager Larry Rudolph.
“A lot of people thought I wouldn’t make it. People thought I was finished, didn’t they?” Contactmusic quoted Spears as saying.
“I guess for a while last year it looked that way. Nothing I can do about the past. But I’m hoping to prove them wrong now. And I have really put everything I have into this new show,” she added.
Spears admits that going back on the road has been a therapeutic experience for her.
“I’m not sad any more. I was just so sad for such a long time, but not any more. And you know what?” she said.
“That feels really, really good. I’m happy. Truly. I feel like the girl who has it all. I have my family, my boys, my friends, my fans, this show,” she added. (ANI)
