London, January 19 (ANI): Britney Spears has apparently renamed her new single If You Seek Amy to If You See Amy following a ban over its controversial lyrics.
The pop princess forthcoming single had faced the axe from US radio stations after it was alleged to bear explicit connotations.
Subsequently, the third single from Britneys comeback album Circus was banned after being dubbed too offensive to broadcast, reports the Sun.
The record featured the chorus “All of the boys and all of the girls are beggin” to, If You Seek Amy, with the last four words sounding like “F–k me” when sung quickly.
So now, the singer had returned to the studio to rerecord the song by dropping K from seek and renaming it If You See Amy. (ANI)
