Washington, Jan 19 (ANI): Britney Spears hopes of making a comeback through the big screen have been dashed, after the producers of her film decided to axe her.
Earlier this month, filmmaker Tommy Parker told MTV News that he was in negotiations with the troubled pop stars camp to sign her on to his low-budget thriller Memoirs of a Medicated Child.
But a rep for the film has now revealed that even with an accepted 3 million dollars deal finalised, producers of the have agreed on dumping Britney.
“Even with an accepted $3 million offer on the table and negotiations being finalized, producers decided to can Brit, Usmagazine.com quoted the rep, as telling Extra.
Actor Peter Falk’s niece Samantha Falk will now replace Spears in the film as the caring girlfriend of a troubled young man. (ANI)
