British Band ‘Broadcast’s Founder Trish Keenan Dies At 42

trishJan 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lead singer of the band ‘Broadcast,’ Trish Keenan passed away on Friday, the Warp Records group announced the news to the media. The media outlets reported that the renowned singer lost her battle with pneumonia. Trish Keenan was 42-years-old.

The officials of Warp Records, released a statement confirming the unfortunate demise of the singer. In the statement, it was mentioned that Trish Keenan battled against pneumonia for more than two weeks in intensive care. However, on Friday morning, she passed away leaving her friends and family mourning for her death. Warp Records’ statement read that the unfortunate demise of Trish Keenan is surely a tragic loss and she would be missed by everyone who knew her personally as well as all her fans. Trish Keenan was described as an artist with exceptional talent along with an unique voice and an excellent human being inside out. The media outlets reported that Trish Keenan was suffering from swine flu while she was on tour.

Singer Trish Keenan formed the band ‘Broadcast’ along with bassist James Cargill in 1995 in south Birmingham. Their latest album “Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age” was released in 2009 and it received good response from the listeners. Warps Records has also sent its thoughts and prayers to Trisha Keenan’s band members, her friends and also her family. As the lead singer and the founder of Broadcast has passed away, the future of the band is now uncertain to some extent. Trisha Keenan’s band members have not yet announced anything to the media. Trisha Keenan’s family is yet to announce details about her funeral arrangements.
