London, January 17 (ANI): British showgirl Immodesty Blaize has unwrapped a history of cabaret featuring models of different shapes and sizes in glamorous striptease acts in her first DVD Burlesque Undressed.

The curvy dancer, who was crowned Miss Exotic World 2007, believes one does not have to be a size zero to be sexy.

“There’s a real pressure on young girls to look one way, like the size zero models on the catwalk, regardless of their own body shape. But believe me, that’s not sexy at all,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

“Real glamour is about making the best of what you’ve got and of who you are, rather than trying to be someone else. That’s the message that really shines through if you watch the movie.

“The women on it are all so different and they dress to reflect their personality. We’ve got the blonde bombshell, the sultry brunette, the Jessica Rabbit-a-like redhead… they’re all unique, and they’re all beautiful in their own different ways.

“That’s the point. You’ve got to find the thing that’s special about you, the thing that makes you different, and work on that to make yourself truly sexy,” she added. (ANI)
