‘Bride and Prejudice’ star Bledel set for college comedy ‘Ticket to Ride’November 14th, 2007 - 2:21 pm ICT by admin
Washington, Nov 14 (ANI): ‘Bride and Prejudice’ star Alexis Bledel has signed on to star in Fox Atomic’s college comedy “Ticket to Ride”.
“Shark Tale” and “Shrek” helmer Vicky Jenson is directing the pic, the screenplay for which has been penned by Kelly Fremon.
Bledel, who appeared in Gurinder Chadha’s ‘Bride and Prejudice’, will be playing the role of Ryden Malby, a college grad who is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family while she attempts to find a job, the right guy and some direction for her life.
Work on the 15 million dollar project is set to begin next month, reports Variety.
Ivan Reitman is producing through his Montecito Picture Co. banner. Tom Pollock is exec producer, with Jeff Arkuss overseeing for Atomic.
Bledel is also set to will reprise her role as Lena in the sequel to Warner Bros.’ “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” (ANI)
