Bret Michaels released from hospital, full recovery expected

Phoenix, May 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Poison frontman Bret Michaels has been released from the hospital and the doctors say that they expect a full recovery. The chief of cerebrovascular surgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center - Dr. Joseph Zabramski, said that he had suggested to Bret that he ought to wait at least for four to six weeks, to recuperate fully and then he ought to resume his normal activities. Dr. Joseph Zabramski however refused to mention when it was advisable to resume touring. He also added that the doctors would review Bret Michael’s progress every fortnight, till he recuperates fully. “This produces a great deal of stress on the body,” he said. “This is like being involved in an accident from inside.”

Prior to his brain hemorrhage, he was in the news because of his emergency appendectomy surgery, which happened just prior to one of his show’s. He was scheduled to perform at the Sea World, and was also constantly complaining about a sever stomachache. He had presumed that he was suffering from flu, and the pain was because of that. However the doctors asked him to go to the hospital just before his show. At the hospital, the doctors diagnosed it as appendicitis, and Brett was underwent emergency surgery there.
