Aug 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Celebrity Apprentice 3″ winning contestant and American singer Bret Michaels is all set to host Miss Universe Pageant 2010 which NBC channel will broadcast live on 23rd August from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The Miss Universe organization announced the news on their website on Tuesday. The organization also announced that Bret Michaels will be co-hosting the show with Natalie Morales, the correspondent for NBC’s “The Today Show” who recently hosted Miss USA Pageant 2010.

Miss Universe 2010 contest will feature 80 contestants from all over the world competing in swimsuit round, evening gown round and question round to win the crown. There were be many celebrity performers on the show like the singer and songwriter Orianthi will perform in the show. John Legend & Roots will also reportedly perform in the show. Donald Trump, the producer and owner of the pageant seemed excited about the pageant. In one of his interviews, he said that with so many celebrities performing for the grand evening with such renowned hosts and veteran judges, Las Vegas will be “scorching hot” on August 23.

Bret Michaels recently recovered from his brain hemorrhage and the “Poison” band member seemed all geared up for the pageant. The singer of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” will return in VH1 in a new reality show “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It”. There were speculations by the media before that Bret Michaels will be judging “American Idol”, however, there is no confirmation yet as Steven Tyler is also among the contenders. The audience is eagerly waiting for Miss Universe 2010 to see all their favorite celebrity performers and also to know who emerges as the winner of the much-coveted beauty pageant.
