Bret Michaels fights brain hemorrhage

bret_micheals_current_83ae April 27, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Rocker and reality TV star, Bret Michaels, best known as the chief singer of the band, Poison, was admitted to a Los Angeles area infirmary subsequent to a brain hemorrhage. Physicians are still endeavoring to discover the reason of the hemorrhage.

It was mentioned that Michaels was in pain. He repetitively complained about a dreadful headache and he uttered that it felt like he was getting hit in the head with a baseball bat over and over again. Doctors unearthed bleeding at the base of his brain stem when he was admitted to the hospital.

Further examinations will be done to help locate the exact reason behind the hemorrhage, according to his web site. Meanwhile, he remains in intensive care, where he could stay for the next several weeks.

Michaels, who currently is seen on NBC’s reality show, ‘Celebrity Apprentice 3’, suffers from Type 1 diabetes.

Donald Trump, adjudicator on the show, elucidated that he was extremely distressed to hear the news of Michaels’ condition and added that his thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time.

Apart from singing, Michaels has also starred in the VH1 reality show, ‘Rock of Love with Bret Michaels’, and its sequels, and as a judge on the talent show ‘Nashville Star’.
