Bret Michaels engaged to girlfriend Kristi Gibson

Los Angeles, Dec 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bret Michaels might be heading to the emergency room for a very sensitive procedure on his heart but the TV reality star has not allowed that to prevent him from proposing to his long time girlfriend, Kristi Gibson.
Though the couple has been together for about 16 years now, their relationship has been on and off. It seems though that Michaels want to settle down with Kristi whom he has two daughters with. The hurriedly plan event took place on the finale episode of his show, “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.”
Towards the end of the show on Monday, Michaels got on a knee and brought out a diamond ring. He then asked Kristi if she would marry him. It was the way he said it that amused some people.
While on one knee, he said that, “Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now.” Kristi of course accepted the proposal happily. The pair then broke the news to their children; Raine, 10, and Jorja, 5 who were happy.
Rumors about Michaels engagement has made the rounds before. He however denied all of them and now it seems there will be no denial.
