Los Angeles, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Bret Michael’s song with the teenage sensation Miley Cyrus has managed to create a new controversy, but Bret isn’t worried about it at all. He reportedly also said that, there’s “nothing I have to be defensive about.” The country rock ballad ‘Nothin’ to Lose’ was released last week, then a lot of people protested the fact that Michael asked the teenage singing sensation Miley to sing the harmonies to his suggestive lyrics. “I was like … Everyone’s going nuts!” Michaels said.

In the song the lyrics are about a romance that slowly goes the wrong way, and the lyrics talk about slowly getting undressed. Bret Michael says that the lyrics were written 2 years ago. He also revealed that the Cyrus portion was added to the track when he played the song especially for her, when she was in a recording session of Miley’s cover of Bret’s song ‘Every Rose Has its Thorn’. Miley appreciated the song very much, and said that it was very beautiful. Bret reveals that, “[Miley was] like, ‘This is an incredible song, it’s beautiful. Maybe I could [add] some stuff to it, some harmonies,’” Michaels said. “She was excited that she didn’t have to follow any rules.”
