Aug 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest offering from Bravo promises to be another drama filled reality series. With ‘The Real housewives of DC’ premiering on the network on August 5, the American audience can look forward to seeing some more gorgeous women who grace the social circles of the nation’s capital. One of the most talked about contestants on the show is Michaele Salahi who famously gatecrashed into the White House with her husband. On the show, she is considered to be the crazy one and from the very first episode the other ‘Housewives’ are seen to be slightly weary of her.

The first episode shows the housewives deciding on a Polo match. Though some are keen to attend the event, some turn it down as goat rodeo. Mary and some of the others decide to organize a birthday party but they do not invite Michaele Salahi. However, right before the party Mary is seen giving a call to Michaele Salahi and asking her to join in. Catherine is referred to as Cat on the show and her British accent is often a subject of interest among the women. The other two women include Lynda and Stacy, who were mostly overshadowed by the other three in the first episode.

The hype surrounding the series quadrupled as Michaele Salahi became the center of a controversy that involved Whoopi Goldberg right before the episode premiere. Among some of the highlights of the episode, Michaele Salahi is seen talking about the famous gatecrashing incident that brought her into the limelight and Mary is seen passing some racist comments after getting drunk.
