Brangelina Accept Damages From Tabloid That Claimed Split

July 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The world’s sexiest couple have accepted the damages from the tabloid that claimed that the couple had split. The tabloid had quoted that the Hollywood power couple had split and even visited a divorce lawyer in January. It went on to say that the couple were now deciding about the splitting of their fortunes and their six kids. The tabloid started the rumor in January and immediately afterward the attorneys of the couple sent them letter asking them to retract the information in the next edition. The tabloid took a different step and published that the couple were furious at each other as they were suspecting each other of leaking the news.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s lawyers had no option but to sue the tabloid after it failed to come out and clarify the truth. The tabloid chose to keep the readers in the dark and create baseless gossip among the fans of the ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ stars. The Los Angeles court ruled in favor of the couple on July 22 and now the tabloid will hand the couple an undisclosed amount very soon. The lawyer of the couple said that the victory marks the end of the litigation brought by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Angelina Jolie is in the news in the recent months for the release of her latest spy thriller ‘Salt’. The film has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. The USP of the film is the stunts that have reportedly been performed by the star herself instead of a body double.
