Brandon Davis Not Dead, Sources Confirm

Sep 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The rumors doing the rounds in the web about the demise of noted socialite Brandon Davis are totally untrue. The rumors about his death were being circulated by some celebrity gossip sites after a Las Vegas gas explosion took place last Sunday in which a person with the same name was killed. The person was not the socialite for sure but there was no stopping the rumor mills! In reality, the socialite is perfectly well and far from dead. He is the heir of an oil behemoth and was known for dating actress Mischa Barton. The person who died in the explosion was 26-years-old while the socialite is 31. He does not stay at Las Vegas either.
When it was proved that the person who died was not the socialite, the sources who spread the news of the latter’s death withdrew their reports and also apologized for the mistake. Socialite Brandon Davis also hogged limelight earlier when he had made some not-so-nice comments about actress and model Lindsay Lohan. The news of the death of Brandon Davis had taken a lot of people by sheer surprise. The mistake was rectified almost a week after the death occurred and in the meantime many web users tweeted and posted their queries and confusions in the web.
There is nothing new in celebrity death rumors appearing and circulating in the web. It has happened to many actors and models who have millions of fans. However, in most of the cases the rumors are based on anything but factual details whereas in the case of this socialite there was a valid reason for generating the rumor.
